Joy Academy (a Unit of Kumari Mangrove Foundation), a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the education of disadvantaged children, thinks that there is no better place to begin than in the halls of education, whether the issue is healthcare, poverty, population control, unemployment, or human rights.
Education is both the means and the end goal of a better life; because it enables an individual to earn a living, and the end goal because it raises one's awareness on a variety of issues from healthcare to appropriate social behaviour to understanding one's rights and helps one evolve as a better citizen.
Joy Academy a Unit of Kumari Mangrove Foundation strives to provide education to disadvantaged children who are in tough situations, such as child labour, children of the poorest of parents, street and runaway children, children with unusual disabilities, catastrophe hit children, and slum children. Special focus is placed on girl and woman education in order to empower them and their families.
